- The IP Mobile Softphone uses your high-speed broadband Internet connection to send and receive calls.
- You dial a number and your call rings it's destination just like a regular telephone, and you talk.
- Your Internet connection should work as it did before you installed the IP Mobile phone software - sending and receiving emails and other web data.
- Your computer is now a telephone, able to send and receive telephone calls just like a regular telephone. (If using a headset you will only hear the phone 'ringing' with an incoming call if you have the headset on your head.)
